Body of woman found in Longwood

The body of a woman has been discovered in Longwood tonight.

The remains were found at a house in the village earlier this evening. Gardai have sealed off the scene and are preserving it for a full technical examination.

A man in his 30s is understood to have been taken to hospital with injuries which are not thought to be serious.
