Everything Hunky Dory for Premier League!

Ashbourne-based Hunky Dorys is the broadcast sponsor of the new season of Setanta Sports Premier League highlights programme.

The Hunky Dorys - Premier League Show will air on Setanta Ireland on Saturday evening (8.30pm) and on Sunday (10.30pm) each weekend for the duration of the new football season and will feature all of the highlights from that week’s Premier League games. The show is fronted by Conor Morris, with former Irish professional footballer Matt Holland and former Arsenal left-back Nigel Winterburn.

The decision for Setanta Ireland to broadcast the Premier League Highlights came after the show was cut by RTE following a 15-year run.
Trevor Twamley, director of advertising at Setanta said: “We are delighted that Hunky Dorys have joined the Setanta team for this Premiership season, for what promises to be a very exciting season for Irish football fans. This addition to the station every Saturday and Sunday is another statement of our renewed commitment to all the Premier League fans around the country.”

Hunky Dorys, established by Largo Foods in 1996, has an ongoing commitment to sport both in Ireland and the UK, having this year been announced as official sponsor for Tyrone GAA and with long term sponsorship of Navan Rugby Club
, Hunky Dory Park Drogheda United and numerous other local clubs in Meath and Donegal. Speaking about this new sponsorship of the Premier League Show by the brand, Raymond Coyle, chairman of Largo Foods, said: “The Premier League is hugely popular amongst football fans in Ireland. We are excited about the new football season and the Hunky Dorys Premier League Show which for football fans is 'must-see TV' on Irish television screens.”
