Seven from council off to NY and London

Seven representatives of Meath County Council will be travelling to two destinations abroad during St Patrick’s Week.
Five people, including council cathaoirleach, Cllr Niamh McGowan and Cllrs Brian Fitzgerald, Shane Cassells and Sirena Campbell, will fly to New York to join in the celebrations in the city from 14th to 19th March.
They will be accompanied by council official Joe Fahy, who is director of services.
Fine Gael Cllr Maria Murphy will represent the county council during the St Patrick’s Week celebrations in London from 16th to 18th March. Cllr Murphy will be accompanied by council official, Fiona Lawless, the council’s head of finance.
