Third annual Meath Style Awards launched in Headfort Arms Hotel

Now in its third year, the Meath Style Awards was officially launched at the Headfort Arms Hotel last Monday, February 4th. Following on from the success of previous years the glamorous awards ceremony will take place on Friday, April 5th at the Headfort Arms Hotel in Kells. Mary McGuigan, sales manager at the Meath Chronicle, said: "The Meath Style Awards seek to recognise people involved in the fashion and beauty industries in Meath and to acknowledge their contribution to life, both economically and socially, in the county." "Last year's event was a great success and gave a huge morale boost for businesses who were nominated," she continued. Eight awards will be presented at the ceremony - Best Boutique, Best Accessories, Best Bridal, Best Beauty Salon/ Day Spa, Best Hair Salon, Best New Business, Best Interiors, and Best in Social Media, a new category for 2013. An overall 'Excellence in Style' award will be presented to a winner chosen from the category winners. Last year's category winners included Navan boutique Ribbon Rouge, Trim hair salon Headstart and La Royale Day Spa, Navan. The Excellence in Style award was won by Balance Medi Spa, Navan. There will be a Best Dressed Lady competition on the day with Inspire's stylist Maria Kelly on hand to judge the most stylish lady. Guests will also receive a goodie bag. A special edition of Inspire, featuring profiles of nominees and sponsors, will be published to conicide with the awards ceremony.
