Sudden death of Lismullin principal

There is widespread shock across the county this week at the sudden death of the principal of Lismullin National School, Pat Sheridan, after taking ill at his home on Wednesday morning, at the age of 34. A native of Oldcastle, Mr Sheridan lived for a period in Johnstown, Navan, and previously taught at Slane School. He was living with his family at Summerbank, Oldcastle. He is survived by his wife, Darina (nee McCannon), children, Eanna and Tadhg, parents, Paddy and Kathleen, sisters Brenda (Wilson) Miriam (Qualter) and Edel, brother Andy, mother-in-law Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and a huge circle of friends. He is reposing at his home with removal on Saturday morning for Funeral Mass at 11am in St. Bridget's Church. Burial afterwards in local cemetery, with the house private on Saturday morning.
