Controversial rapper, Eminem, will headline a second gig at Slane on 17th August next, two months after the Bon Jovi gig on 15th June.
Tickets go on sale next Wednesday, 19th December at €79.50 at 9am.
Having once vowed that the rapper would never get a date at Slane again, after pulling out of a concert in 2005, owner Lord Henry Mountcharles has now confirmed they have made up and that the 40 year old rapper will now appear in Slane eight years later.
One of the most successful rappers in history, Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, was originally down to headline Slane in 2005 but cancelled late in the day due to "exhaustion complicated by other matters." It later transpired that he had developed a prescription drug dependency.
Support acts for the one-day event have yet to be announced.
