Tayto Park celebrated another success at the Pillo Hotel, Ashbourne, on Thursday night by winning the 2012 Best in Tourism award at the third annual Meath Business and Tourism Awards. The theme park was announced as the overall winner from eight separate categories at the event, attended by over 260 guests.

Tayto Park, which is located outside Ashbourne, has become one of Ireland's top theme parks in just two years and is located at Kilbrew. Last month, Tayto Park was unveiled as the new sponsor of the Meath senior football team for 2013. Meath's first competitive game in the new-style Tayto Park gear will be on 6th January against Longford in the O'Byrne Cup.
