Young man dies in Dunshaughlin crash

A 24 year-old man has died in a crash outside Dunshaughlin. The collision occurred at around 4.45am at Cooksland on the Dunshaughlin to Navan Road, about 1km outside Dunshaughlin. There were two occupants in the car, a 23 year-old female driver, who was taken to Blanchardstown with non life threatening injuries and the male passenger, who was brought to Navan.

The road is closed for a forensic collision examination and diversions are in place through Dunsany and Skryne.
