Fergus Finlay, CEO of Barnardos, will be the keynote speaker at a public meeting on the upcoming Children's Rights Referendum at the Newgrange Hotel, Navan on October 2nd at 8pm.

The event, which also features Donat Quinn of the Irish Foster Carers' Association, is being organised by the Meath West Constituency Council of the Labour Party and Labour Equality.

The speakers will outline the reasons for updating the provision for children in the Constitution and take questions from the floor. Councillor Anton McCabe, Chair of the Labour Party in Meath West will host the event.
