Huge crowds attended a fundraising vintage and family day, which was held at Seymourstown, Carnaross, recently to raise funds for for Meath branch of the MS Society.
The event was organised by the Smith family of Seymourstown and the Meath Vintage Group.
There were vintage cars, tractors and farm machinery present, including one of the oldest working Morris Minors in the country, a vehicle owned by Raymond Lynch, which dates back to 1949.
There was also a threshing demonstration with Tony Smith and other attractions included music and Irish dancing, as well as colourful stalls, selling food, bric-a-brac and vintage parts.
Meath MS has extended thanks to the Smith family who put a lot of time and work into organising the event in aid of the charity. The money raised will go towards physiotherapy and home help for people with MS.
The society is a 24-member committee, which has been working in Meath for over 30 years.
