O'Connor on Nations' Cup team

Tara-based Cian O'Connor is on the Irish team for the Aga Khan Nations' Cup, to take place at the Failte Ireland RDS Horse Show on Friday. Ched d'Equipe Robert Splaine has announced that the Irish team for the RDS will be the same one as won the Nation's Cup in Aachen, Germeny, three weeks ago. O'Connor, on new ride, K Club Lady, will be joined by Dermot Lennon on his 10-year-old gelding Hallmark Elite, Billy Twomey with Tinka's Serenade, and Denis Lynch who switches from Lantinus to Nabab's Son, in the headline event in the Simmonscourt Arena. The Meydan FEI Nations Cup first round begins at 2.55pm. President McAleese will arrive for the second round of the competition at 4.50pm, and it will begin at 5pm.
