Royal Tara the venue for major fashion show

Debbie Harper from The Glass Slipper, Preston Place, Navan, models a vintage 1980 dress by designer Frank Usher from Connolly & Moore, Slane, at Royal Tara Golf Club on Monday to announce details of the upcoming fashion show.

Royal Tara Golf Club will be the venue on Thursday 15th October for a major fashion show featuring several well-known local shops and boutiques.

Shops taking part will include Breda's Boutique, Navan; Chantelle, Dunshaughlin; Sarah's Boutique, Kells, Ribbon Rouge, the Glass Slipper, vintage clothing by Connolly & Moore, Slane; designer bridal collection by John Regan Design, menswear by Pat O'Byrne, Trim; millinary by Gillian, and Bernardo Furriers.

There will also be a special appearance by golf professionals modelling sportswear, including resident professional in Royal Tara, John Byrne.

The compere will be Catherine Treacy and admission is €15. Tickets are available from a number of the shops or Royal Tara directly on (046) 902 5508.

There will be a prize for the best dressed lady on the night. A raffle with prizes donated by the shops taking part will also be part of the night, with the proceeds going to the Meath Women's Refuge.
