Search for a star next month in Kells

Anyone who can sing. act, dance, juggle, rap, do magic or tell a joke, have you a band, a dance group or a choir is being invited to enter the 'Kells's Got Talent' contest being organised by Kells Musical and Drama Society.

This competition is open to all and any act or acts of any age. Application forms are available from Johnny Lynch's Butchers, Market Street, Kells. Completed forms should be returned there by 6pm on Monday 31st August.

The first round of the competition is to be staged on Saturday 12th September in the St Vincent de Paul Theatre, Kells, when there will be heats, semi-finals and a grand final.

Every finalist will receive a trophy with great prizes on offer for first, second and third. For further information, contact John on (087) 207 9557 or Brian (086) 384 1766.
