Stephanie Carr, Trim

There was great sadness following the death of Stephanie Carr, Newtownmoynagh, Trim, on 6th July last at Santa Maria Nusing Home, Park, Kinnegad, aged 80.

Stephanie (née Kelly) was a native of Kiltale, Dunsany. She was predeceased by her husband, Jim, on 10th March 1974 and her son, Eddie on 2nd April 1974. Deceased was a caring mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend who will be missed by so many.

She was survived by her daughters, Bernie Cummins, Trammon, Rathmolyon; sons, Brendan Carr. Trim, Paddy and Sean Carr, Newtownmoynagh; brother, Paddy Kelly, Kiltale; sister-in-law Emer, Dublin; son-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends.

The funeral took place on Tuesday 8th July in St Michael’s Church, Rathmolyon, followed by burial in Kilcooley Cemetery, Trim.

Sheila Reid, Castletown Kilpatrick

The regretted death occurred on 21st July last of Sheila Reid, (nee Lee) Stephenstown, Castletown-Kilpatrick, Navan. She was formerly of Kerry and Clongill and was predeceased by her husband, Richard, in December 2000.

Deceased is survived by her sons, Richard and Alan Reid; daughters, Michele McEntee, Frances Waters and Brenda Rogers; daughter-in-law, Carina Reid, sons-in-law, John McEntee, Eamon Waters and John Rogers; sisters, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law; grandchildren, William, Gillian, Tara, and Richard Rogers, Robert Waters, Christine, John and Grace McEntee, Arianna and Alexandra Reid.

The funeral took place from St Patrick’s Church, Castletown-Kilpatrick to the local cemetery. Chief celebrant was Fr Martin McElrean, PP, Castletown, assisted by Fr Michael Sheerin, PP, Lobinstown, Fr Seamus Houlihan, PP, Nobber and Fr Michael Meade, PP, Donore.

 

Gary Travers, Boyerstown

There was widespread sadness at the death of Gary Travers, Navan on 2nd July last, aged 43. Son of Josie and the late Oliver Travers, he was a native of Boyerstown, Navan. He is survived by his mother, Josie; daughters, Laura and Hollie; granddaughter, Layla; brothers and sisters, Alan, Linda, Sarah, Jane, and Rebecca; brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The funeral took place in Boyerstown Church on Saturday 5th July followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Patrick Moloney, Julianstown

The death occurred on Wednesday 9th July of Patrick (Paddy) Moloney, Sandyhall Road, Julianstown at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, aged 69. Son of the late Mary and Patrick Moloney, he was a native of Dublin.

Paddy loved life and he was a keen motorbike supporter and racer in his day. He loved to spend time with his family and grandchildren and always had a smile on his face.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila; daughters, Karon, Jackie, Patrice; son, Barry; and grandchildren Caitlyn, Rebecca and Jordan,

The funeral mass took place in St Mary’s Church, Whitecross, on 12th July, followed by burial in Moorechurch cemetery.

 

Tommy Malone, Kingscourt

The death occurred on 28th June last of Tommy Malone, Cloughrea, Kingscourt, at Beaufort House Community Nursing Residence, Navan.

Aged 71, he was a former employee of Gypsum Industries and had a passion for GAA and soccer.

He was predeceased by his brother, Emmett, and is survived by his brothers, Vincent, Philip and Dessie; sisters Eileen, Mary and Angie; aunt, Dolly; nieces and nephews.
