Racing families celebrate Carberry-Walsh wedding
Two of the country's most famous racing families became in-laws yesterday (Tuesday) when jockey Nina Carberry and Ted Walsh junior were married in the bride's local parish church in Ratoath.

In 1966, Meath man Frank Loughran sold his trumpet when he moved to England for work. He had learned to play the instrument at school, but didn't think he would play again and sold it for £20 before he left.

Varadkar confirms funds available as Slane bypass decision awaited
