A Kia Sorento, which will be the medical car for 2010 Kells Road Races, was handed over by McKeon Motors, Kells, to Lester Ferguson of Kells Road Races last week ahead of this year's event. This is the fifth year McKeon's has sponsored the medical car for Motorcycling Ireland (MCI) and the Kells Road Races, which takes place this year from Wednesday 14th to Sunday 18th July.

According to Darren Kavanagh, general manager of McKeon Motors, Kells: "Because of the serious nature of road racing, it is imperative that a medical team be on hand in case of emergency.

"We are, therefore, delighted to sponsor the MCI and Kells Road Races Medical Car once again. We wish Aileen and Lester Ferguson the very best of luck as they finalise the arrangements for the 2010 Kells Road Races and look forward to a great weekend of racing."
