INSPIRE: Are you ready to take on the Boyne Camino Challenge

If you're looking for a magical walk through the heart of the Boyne Valley in aid of a great cause, the Boyne Camino Challenge is just for you.

After a wonderful inaugural event where a great day was had by all in glorious sunshine, this July will see the North East Cancer Research and Education Trust (NECRET) who support the Oncology Unit, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda embark on a magical walk of greenway, riverside, wood paths, quiet country roads, canal paths, green fields and historical locations really is a special gem in the heart of the Boyne Valley.

While the challenge is 25km in length there will be plenty of breaks throughout and walkers can go at a pace that suits each individual. The event is happening on Saturday, 24th July starting and finishing at St Peter's Church in Drogheda. More details can be found under Boyne Valley Camino Challenge on the NECRET Facebook page.

NECRET’s mission is to improve the treatment and outcomes of people with cancer by supporting cutting edge treatment and care are greatly appreciative to the Boyne Valley Walking Group for their wonderful support in running the event.
