Ashbourne writer on Eason's summer must reads

This summer, Eason is making selecting the perfect read easy with the return of ‘Sinéad and Rick’s Must Reads’. Best-selling author Sinéad Moriarty and broadcaster and book enthusiast Rick O’Shea are once again teaming up with Eason for the second installation of their Must Reads series, bringing customers their personal take on unmissable titles for the months ahead.

Sinéad and Rick have selected four titles each for the summer season, from Irish and international writers, covering a wide range of genres from chilling thrillers and nail-biting ‘whodunnits’ to moving tales of parenthood and family.
Providing authentic personal reviews of the books, Sinéad and Rick will give their opinions on why they love these particular stories and why you won’t be able to put these books down, once you’ve started.

Brendan Corbett, Group Head of Marketing at Eason, says: “Summer really is a time to switch off and read and Sinead and Rick have selected a wonderfully diverse list of books that cater for all tastes. We hope their personal reviews will help customers make a selection that suits them and maybe even introduces them to their next favourite novel.”

Rick O’Shea, said: “I’m delighted to be back with the second collection of gripping page-turners for the Must Reads series with Eason. These books offer a fantastic selection of some of the most exciting books coming out this summer and hopefully they’ll inspire people to switch off, pick up a good book and get lost in a story.”

Sinéad Moriarty added: “Summer is a great time for reading and it can be daunting to choose just one book out of the thousands that are available in store and online. I think this selection really offers something for every taste and really showcases a great range of stories and writers.”

This summer, ‘Sinéad and Rick’s Must Reads’ features a wide range of funny, emotional and thought provoking titles, including:
