PictureHouse in Trim this weekend

Irish act PictureHouse continue the Shine Box 21st anniversary celebrations by playing an intimate two man show in Bakers Loft on Saturday 23rd September.
Best known for a string of hit singles including Sunburst, Heavenly Day, Everybody Loves My Girl, Somebody Somewhere, Love In The Streets and most recently Rules of Science, the band made a name for themselves with a constant touring schedule that saw them sharing stages with the likes of Meatloaf, The Corrs, James, Texas, Runrig, Mel C, Marillion and many more. They played to over a million people in 1999 and in the same year had the most played song by any artist on Irish radio.

The band eventually broke up in 2004 before reuniting in 2013 and returning with a brand-new album Evolution which again spawned radio singles including Some Night She Will Be Mine, Hello and Rules of Science.
The band commented: “We love playing the two man shows, the songs get a new breath of life and we really love being this close to the audience!”
The band have revealed that they will be releasing a special record called “How Can I Explain How It Came To Be?” to celebrate the occasion, featuring key singles, album tracks, B-sides and never heard before material.
