Accordian Association's free Bailieboro concert

The Irish Accordion Association hosts a free concert on Monday next, 28th August at 7.30 pm. in St Anne's Church, Bailieboro.  All monies raised (donations at the door) will go to the Autistic Unit, Bailieboro Community School.  Special guests are the world famous Akkordeon Landesjugendorchester from Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany who have performed in many European countries and the USA, Canada, Russia, China, Brazil, South Africa, Namibia, Costa Rica, New Zealand, Fiji and India.  Performing with them will be Antje Steen, bandoneonist and Douglas Yates, baritone.  They will be performing music by Piazzolla and Schumann amongst others.  Also performing will be the Lambay Singers from Donabate, Co Dublin, Castletown Accordion Orchestra  based in  Mullagh and a number of accordion soloists from Meath.
