There is a special theme on week 9 of Dancing with the Stars and  the remaining 6 dancing couples will be looking to keep out of the Dance Off as they shake and shimmy to songs by their personal music icons.

Julian Benson will make a triumphant return to the judging hot seat this week. He will no doubt dazzle viewers with his latest sparkly jacket and witty one liners! Welcome Back Julian!

'I was humbled and overwhelmed by the wonderful warm get well wishes and want to say a huge thank you to everybody-they really helped me get better.

'It’s great to feel fighting fit again and look forward to the next 4 very exciting weeks as things really are heating up now. Captain sparkle is ready to rumble!” said Julian.

The guest act this week comes from Thriller Live! performing Man in the Mirror which starts on Monday in Dublin’s Gaiety Theatre.

Katherine Lynch has chosen Proud Mary by Tina Turner and she will be jiving with partner Kai Widdrington.

Denise McCormack found herself in the bottom two last week so she will be hoping to avoid the dance off with a quickstep to Valerie by Mark Ronson feat. Amy Winehouse. This song reminds her of the fun she has with her friends, so will partner Ryan McShane be able to inject some fun into this routine?

Dayl Cronin is flying high having topped the judges’ leader board two weeks in a row. Ksenia Tzsikhotska will be showing him how to Cha Cha Cha to What Do You Mean? by Justin Bieber.

Aidan O’Mahony is on baby watch as his wife is due their first child any day now.  Katherine Lynch performed an amazing Charleston on Sunday so Valeria Milova will need to make sure Aidan can do better to the song I Got a Woman (Remix) by Rudedog feat. Ray Charles.

Aoibhín Garrihy is a massive Beyonce fan and Vitali Kozmin will be helping her channel her inner ‘sasha fierce’ with a salsa to Crazy in Love.

Des Cahill loves Billy Joel and in particular loves Uptown Girl, Karen Byrne knows the Westlife version so Des will have to teach her a thing or two this week.! They will be dancing an American Smooth.

The Professional dancers will be dancing Jive to Blue Suede Shoes by Elvis Presley.
