Bulabeats film earning rave reviews

Over a decade since DJ Johnny Pluse launched his own record label, Bulabeats, out of sheer frustration with the music industry in Ireland the Trim man has released a short film chronicalling the rise of his label - Breaking The Beat – The Bulabeats Story.
With a running time of just 22 minutes and featuring interviews with Irish Daily Star music guru Mark Kavanagh and Spin 1038 DJ John Gibbons, Pluse and his many colleagues over the 10 years recall their journey in a sharp, witty, intelligent film which has earned raved reviews.
The Short Film Music Documentary has been picked up by the Chicago Irish Film Festival, the Dublin International Short Film and Music Festival, the IndieCork Film Festival, the Ozark Shorts Festival, Ammar Intl Popular Film Festival and the International Open Film Festival.
The film portrays the journey as Bulabeats begun to garner more attention and were quickly inundated with DJ’s and producers from around the world that had been waiting for a platform and a home for their collective sound.
It is produced, filmed and directed by Noel Smith and Adrian Farrelly of Bad Apple Films.
