The B.Y.E campsite is run by an environmental management co-operative which aims to promote respect and preservation to the surrounding festival environment. The B.Y.E Eco Campsite offers a cleaner space for campers where all rubbish is separated and litter-bugs are not welcome! Applications for the eco campsite can be made through electricpicnic.ie on Monday morning from 12 noon but, be fast as last year the campsite booked up in a record time of 35 minutes! Due to demand the capacity of the BYE campsite has been extended to 1,500 campers for 2016.
No wonder places go like proverbial hotcakes as the site offers the chance to live, create and generate ideas alongside fellow eco-warriors in a creative and tranquil setting. Tickets are restricted to two per booking. Gladrags and recycling bags at the ready; sign up at electricpicnic.ie from 12 noon Monday 4th July.
