Celebrate spud day with paul flynn at country crest

National Potato Day takes place on Friday 2 October and Country Crest, one of Ireland’s largest suppliers and growers of quality potatoes in Ireland, is hosting a family fun day to celebrate at the Country Crest Farm Shop at Jones Garden Centre, Swords Road, Donabate, Co Dublin.

Country Crest is inviting guests to attend from 3.30pm – 5.30pm and enjoy a wide range of family activities including: Country Crest’s delicious potatoes baked using an old steam engine; tastings of delicious produce and foods available at the Country Crest Farm Shop; fun potato themed activities for the kiddies, including potato-head decorating, potato arts and crafts, face painting and great competitions with the opportunity to win Country Crest Farm Shop hampers and Mr Potato Head cuddly toys.

Paul Flynn, Dublin Footballer and 2015 All-Ireland Champion, will be present on the day to greet guests and proudly show off his new All-Ireland medal.

The Country Crest Farm Shop stocks a vast array of 100% Irish produce, including crisp fresh vegetables, succulent cuts of the finest meat, hand-made quality meals and a range of farmstead cheese.
