Navan comhaltas music classes for children

The Navan branch of CCE, Craobh na hUaimhe, is striving to offer every child in the Navan area over the next couple of years the chance to play a musical instrument of choice for a fee of just €5 per session taught. CCE Navan believe that learning a musical instrument is a passport to a brighter future for all our children as music is the great international language and many doors of opportunity are open to all who have mastered a musical skill.

At an open evening scheduled for Beaufort College, Trim Road, Navan on Thursday 17th September, CCE Navan will introduce to all present an introduction to learning fiddle, tin-whistle, flute, banjo, concertina and button accordion.

All students who wish to attend are invited to do so but are asked to register their interest with the CCE Navan group website www.comhaltasnavan.com.

Feel free to bring musical instruments along on this open evening. The plan is to divide music students into classes according to need, experience and talent with a space made available for all who are interested in learning. It is the hope of CCE Navan branch that all who attend this initial open night will experience some music tuition.
