Niamh set for launch of little by little

Fast becoming one of the sounds of the summer, Niamh Crowther’s 'Little by Little”' celebrates it’s launch upstairs in Whelans on June 29th.

Currently riding high on the RTE Radio 1 playlist, having already been “Homegrown Hero of The Week” on Today FM and featured on almost 30 radio stations nationwide, Spotify have featured the track which has been streamed over 30 thousand times in it’s first few weeks.

Mixed by Tim Martin (The Corrs, Declan O’Rourke) and recorded in Windmill Lane, ‘Little by Little’ follows on from the critical acclaim of Origins earlier this year.

Niamh (18), from Ashbourne, was first spotted in 2010 at a youth initative that was mentored by a panel of high profile industry people including Jackie Hayden (The man who found U2, Hotpress founder, Island Records) and Willie Kavanagh (former head of EMI, now chairing IRMA). Rather than rush a then 14 year old into a lifechanging situation, they recommended that Niamh be left alone and allowed develop at her own pace.

That advice seems to have paid off. Niamh went on to win the Youth Music Awards two years later. She went on to complete her Leaving Certificate, even fitting in time to appear onstage with Richie Sambora at his Olympia show on her 18th birthday in 2014, and has now returned armed with a stunning catalogue of songs which have the industry standing to attention.
