Karl spain for comedy central

Navan Laughs penultimate gig of the year takes place on Thursday 27th November at The Central, ideal for an early Christmas party!

The headliner this month is Karl Spain, a legend of Irish comedy and former winner of the RTE New Comedy Awards. He's since gone on to star in his own RTE shows like 'Karl Spain Wants a Woman' and 'Karl Spain Wants to Rock'. He's also been a regular on tv screen in the likes of The Panel, BBC's Comedy Store, News Republic and lots more. He is not to be missed.

Support includes Michael Downey, a former finalist in the BBC and Channel 4 New Comedy Awards. He also finished third in the prestigious So You Think You're Funny competition - sharing third place with a certain Alan Carr and beating John Bishop. Finally, Drogheda man Tomie James completes the line-up. This Laughter Lounge regular is a veteran of the country's top festivals including Electric Picnic and Forbidden Fruit.

There'll be a short guest spot from promising up-and-comer Keith Mitchell and Alan Gernon returns as MC.

Tickets available now from The Central and www.ticketstop.ie for a tenner. As usual, the Comedy Meal Deal is available for €27. Call 046 9027999 for reservations.
