June 30th is the final day of the submissions and the festival organisers and staff want to extend their congratulations to all the filmmakers who have submitted material to date.
So far submissions have tripled from last year with films comprising of documentaries, feature films, animations, short films and Irish language films, and student films.
Meath filmmakers Ronan O’Sullivan and Robbie Smyth have both submitted films to the festival this year.
“It has been an unprecedented year for submissions” says Liz Kenny, “and the introduction of our Irish language section, has seen us inundated with Irish language films”.
