Mick Flannery's Tara na Ri date

Following the release of his new album, ‘By The Rule’, Mick Flannery takes to the road and plays The Stables at Tara Na Rí on Sunday 11th May next. The album features some of Mick’s finest material to date and is preceded by the first single ‘Get What You Give’.
After a short tour in the US in March 2013, Mick moved to Berlin to write songs for a new album. Speaking about the new single ‘Get What You Give’ Mick says: “I moved to Berlin last year, don’t know why.. I didn’t know anyone there, so I had a lot of time to think about my feelings and what do you know I wrote a song about them”.
Mick based himself in Berlin for seven months to write and from there he toured Germany, UK, US, Ireland and Australia. He returned to Ireland to record with producers Ryan Freeland and Christian Best in December 2013.
‘By the Rule’, an album of 13 tracks, was recorded in Beachpark Studios, Rathcoole, over a two week period in December. The album was mixed in Ryan’s studio Stampede Origin Studios California in January.
Tickets for The Stables at Tara Na Rí are €24 plus booking fee and are available from the Tara na Rí, Tierney’s Newsagents Navan and online at www.ticketstop.ie
