Mark McCausland and Oisin Leech, The Lost Brothers.

Beggy's date for Lost Brothers

by Denis Finegan

The Lost Brothers, Oisin Leech from Navan and Mark McCausland from Omagh, will play in Beggy’s Bar in Navan on Wednesday 9th April.

They released their third album The Passing of the Night, last September and will begin recording their next record later this month.

In describing the band, Oisín Leech states “we sing close harmonies with simple arrangements, sometimes performing as a duo and sometimes with a band, crafting catchy, folk-tinged songs that hark back to a time when life was simpler”.    Their first album Trails of the Lonely was released in 2008 and the second, So Long John Fante, in 2011.

They will perform in Russia for the first time this week when they travel to Moscow for three gigs as part of a film and music festival titled Ticket to Dublin which also includes The Walls, Cathy Davey and Little Green Cars.
