Nine-day run for 'Pirates of the Caribbean' in Kells

This year’s pantomime by Kells Musical and Dramatic Society is 'Pirates Of The Caribbean’ which opens in the St Vincent De Paul Theatre on Saturday 1st February.
Book your seats early for another action-packed fun-filled roller coaster ride in pantoland with the longest running pantomime in the county, is the advice of the local musical and dramatic society.
It’s a tale of good verses evil. The wicked and evil pirate, Captain Barbossa, seeks the last two pieces of Cortez’s treasure as well as the elusive ship, 'The Black Pearl’, owned by the perpetually tipsy Captain Jack Sparrow.
The show features angry madcap pirates, loads of laughs and slapstick comedy with the panto dame, Salmonella Sparrow, and plenty of hilarious comedy with two bungling comics, Suds and Duds.
It features vibrant dance routines and plenty of great singing along with magical effects, colourful costumes and plenty of audience participation with all the Pirates of the Caribbean characters, dancing and singing their way to a happy ending.
The show runs from Saturday 1st to Sunday 9th February. The booking office open on Monday 27th January at 10am in the St Vincent De Paul Theatre, Kells, opposite Kells Credit Union at Kenlis Place.
The booking office number is (046) 925 2405. See www.kellsmusicalsociety.com for more.
