Comments (0) | Print | Email

A TAPESTRY highlighting the history of Kiltale district has been completed in a joint project by the local primary school pupils and adults with learning difficulties living in Stewarts Centre in Kilcloon.

The tapestry was designed by the schoolchildren and featured hurling, Teagasc, the school and church in local references, with the county acknowledged in Trim, Tara, Nobber and Slane scenes, and the Boyne forming a linking thread throughout.

The Kilcloon workers were led by Mary O"Reilly and Pat Donoghue.
